£10.00
Description
The plant has been found and named by Bob and Jill from Country Garden Plants because of the location of their nursery on the Jurassic Coast and ferns being associated with the Jurassic Period.
This is a cultivar of Dryopteris wallichiana. The new crosiers have black scales like its parent but the young frond colour is very bright golden orange. As the frond matures this fades to light green and is green throughout the winter in the south.Grows to approximately 60-75 cms tall and 45-60 cams across. It is mostly evergreen and flourishes in semi shade. It should be hardy to at least minus 20 degrees C.
